DIE MILCH ON THE J-POP GO SHOP

Gothic lolita goodness…

The J-Pop Go Shop has been updated with 2 releases from our favourite Japanese Gothic Lolita pop outfit DIE MILCH.

You can order copies of debut album METRONOM, which we described as “a superb collection of baroque pop tunes with a strong sense of classical influences and contemporary musical touches”. Features the powerful ‘Rosaria’ which combines founder and singer Coco’s dynamic vocal range with a driving tune bolstered by strings and harpsichord.

Also up for grabs is the ‘MAMA’ EP whose title track is another of Die Milch’s secret weapons. With its driving strings-based tune the song barrels along at a pace with a distinctly military-inspired rhythm. Coupled with a fiercely infectious melody, ‘MAMA’ is one of the most distinctive Japanese tunes you’ll hear this year.
