Expect a wide range of Japanese cultural activities, food and entertainment. Also on the schedule is an exciting variety of stage performances including J-Pop from NAOMI SUZUKI, Tsugaru-jamisen with HIBIKI ICHIKAWA, Koto performance from composer ENOKIDO FUYUKI, Lolita fashion show from the TEA PARTY CLUB and the amazing multi-media entertainment of SIRO-A. There’s a also a special guest appearance from TOMOYASU HOTEI showing his considerable guitar skills.
Also on the bill will be the many violins of the children of the British Suzuki Institute, ceremonial samurai armour with Usagi Juku from Kyoto, precision drumming from Joji Hirota London Taiko Drummers and alo a martial arts stage performance featuring practitioners of Aikido, Judo, Karate, Kendo and Naginata.
The event runs from 11am to 9pm all day Saturday 5th October and is free entry.
