BAND-MAID is a 5-piece rock outfit from Japan who came to attention via their videos for ‘Thrill’ and ‘REAL EXISTENCE’ and the release of their debut album Maid In Japan in 2014. The group combine a maid visual aesthetic with energetic rock tunes for an unforgettable musical experience.

Their latest album Brand New MAID heralds their first international release and will also be available in the UK and Europe courtesy of JPU Records. AMATSUKI is an artist well known within the NicoNicoDouga community who released his first album in 2012. His first major album release Hello World! followed on in 2014. With his boyish vocal style, Amatsuki has delivered the engaging pop appeal of tunes such as ‘Yumemiru Buriki’ and ‘Hello, My Story’.

Both acts will be performing at MCM London Comic Con taking place between 27-29th May. BAND-MAID will be performing on the Fringe Stage on the Saturday and Sunday of the event, as well as the event’s after party. Additionally, they will be part of a daily panel exploring Japan’s music scene, taking place on the Pop Asia stage, as well as signing and meeting fans from JPU Records’ booth each day.

Brand New MAID will be released via JPU Records on 17th June 2016.
