As previously mentioned, J-Pop Go will have a guest DJ slot at the forthcoming London Anime Convention which takes place on the weekend of 9-10th February at the Rocket Complex, Holloway Road.

WOTA will also be guesting as DJs at LAC the same weekend. Among the other music treats scheduled for the Saturday night are Gunji x ADAPTOR and Colors UK.

gunjiThe 2 digital-rock Japanese artists Gunji the fool and ADAPTER are on tour in February of this year. They will cross several countries (France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Russia) for their first coupling tour as “Digital Brothers”.

adaptorGunji was the leader of the electro-visual band “the fool”, and restarted the project in solo, with a brand-new single, “Joker”.

ADAPTER Fukusuke, former member of the well-known band “Metronome”, is now composer, DJ and singer, mixing electro and traditional sounds, for an explosive mix on stage!

colors18Colors are the UK’s premier J-Rock outfit. Originally from Japan and dating back to 1988, the band was reformed here in London in July 2010. One sold out mini album already behind their belt, the band have rerecorded their anthem ‘Hello G’ with an official video to critical acclaim. With new material showcasing their unique blend of punk rock juxtaposed with eastern melody, the band continue to take the capital by storm at London Anime Con 2013!

The LAC will also feature a full weekend of anime, gaming and Japanese culture-related events including Cosplay Masquerade, Manga Workshops, Artists Alley, Pub Quiz, DDR and J-Culture talks. Among the special guests are CAITLIN GLASS, better known for voicing Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist as well as a broad range of other anime roles.
