camcon_tnKeep your calendar clear for Saturday 31st August as CAMCON returns – and J-Pop Go will be guesting at the event.

CamCon is a multi-genre convention based in Cambridge which caters for all genres of fandom from Anime to Sci-Fi to Comics and everything in between. Their debut event in 2012 proved to be a huge success and now CAMCON returns for its second year.

Amongst the treats lined up are panels and talks featuring cartoonist and creator of Em Maria Smedstad, comics writer/editor Alan Cowsill, writer and author Glen Dakin, comics artist John Ross, cosplayer and UK ECG representative Naomi Thorne, Emmy Clap (FairyPorchQueen Cosplay), chiptune musician PixelH8 and professional manga artist Yishan Li.

CAMCON Events include the CamCon Cosplay Show and Alternative Fashion Show and Maid Cafe. The event also features music performances from Katie Wilson, Temphubis and Zonic. DJ duties will be handled on the night by JPop-Go as well as PsychoCandy.

CAMCON takes place on Saturday 31st August 2013 at The Junction, Clifton Way, Cambridge, CB1 7GX.
