J-POP GO (hereinafter referred to as "the Event")
TERMS AND CONDITIONS (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms")
Before completing and signing the registration form, please make sure that you have read all the Terms detailed below, as by signing the Event registration form you have signified your acceptance to be bound by them. The Terms come into effect when your registration form and payment are received by the Event organisers.
Event Organiser's Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the Event Organisers to provide you with a ticket for the Event upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment. Please note that the cost of your ticket does not include food, drink or any extras.
Your Responsibility
It should be understood that by signing up for the Event you will be held responsible for following all the Terms put in place by the Event Organisers. Please note that the Terms are subject to change at any time and. Once you have signed up for the Event it is your responsibility to check any updated Terms on the J-Pop Go Website. Any violation of the Terms will result in your entry to the Event being revoked without refund or recourse.
Hotel Accommodation
Please note that you are solely responsible for booking and paying for your hotel accommodation for the Event. All such arrangements should be made directly with the hotel as the Event Organisers and Staff will not take any responsibility for those who have purchased their ticket for the Event but have not organised their accommodation.
Cancellation and Refund
Should you not be able to attend the Event for any reason your ticket will be
refunded in full, provided that a minimum of two weeks notice is given to the
Event Organisers or Staff. Refunds for tickets giving less than two weeks notice
of cancellation are awarded at the discretion of the Event Organisers or Staff.
Please note that you are solely responsible for cancelling any hotel accommodation
that you have booked, and that the Event Organisers and Staff accept no liability
for your failure to do this. The Event Organisers and Staff are not responsible
for any expenses incurred as a result of the Event being cancelled by anyone other
than themselves, outside of the cost of the Event tickets.
Attendees Personal Property
The Event and /or the organisers and Staff will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage of personal property or any personal injury. Your bags and personal property are your sole responsibility and are left unattended at your own risk.
Event Itinerary Alterations
Sometimes it may be necessary to make changes to the Event itinerary without prior warning. The Event Organisers and Staff reserve the right to do so, and will not be held liable or responsible for such changes. The Event Organisers and Staff cannot accept any responsibility for problems caused by mechanical failure.
General Conduct
All J-Pop Go attendees will be held responsible for their own individual actions and any repercussions that may result from them. Please note that the Event Organisers and Staff will be on hand for assistance should a situation arise, but any civil dispute or medical emergency is to be handled by the appropriate authorities.
We expect all Event attendees to have consideration for their fellow attendees, organisers, staff and venue staff. In the event that any attendee is behaving in such a way as is likely to cause offence, danger, damage or distress to others, the Event Organisers and staff reserve the right to revoke that person (s) event membership and eject said person (s) at anytime from the Event without a refund. The J-Pop Go Organisers and staff will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by them as a result of this. Umbrellas may only be used outside of the venue. Anyone entering the venue with an umbrella will be dealt with as seen fit by the Event Organisers and Staff.
Harassment and Assault
Harassment is generally any behaviour that intentionally annoys or alarms another person or group of people. This includes unwanted physical contact, following someone around a public area without legitimate reason, or threatening to physically attack someone. Please remember that if you approach someone and they tell you "no" or ask you to leave them alone, your business with them is done. If you do not leave them alone as they have requested, it becomes grounds for complaint of harassment. If you have been or feel you have been harassed, or if you have been assaulted, please report the matter immediately to the Event organisers or staff. Repeat offenders may be asked to leave the Event. If you have been accused of harassment and feel that it was unjustified, you may appeal to one of the Event organisers, but their decision is final.
Privacy
The Event Organisers and Staff reserve the right to publish your name, your photograph or its likeness on the J-Pop Go website and /or any publication issued by J-Pop Go Website. We will not release your personal information to any third parties without your expressed written consent.
Weapons Policy
Some cosplay often features weapons of various types and while we want to be as
accommodating as possible, we also have to respect the safety of attendees and
the requirements of the venue.
Weapons not permitted at J-Pop Go include, but are not limited to the following:
The guiding rule is this: Anything that is illegal outside of the venue is also illegal inside the venue.
Prop weapons shall be limited to anything less than eight feet in height and less than 250 pounds in weight (that's 2.4 metres and 114 kilograms in metric).
Behaviour with Weapons
Misuse of any weapon or prop, such as swinging it in a public area or causing hazards to others, will result in the weapon or prop being deemed unsafe for the event.
If a weapon or prop is deemed unsafe for the event, we will ask you to remove it and/or confiscate it for the duration of the event.
All props and weapons brought into the event may be inspected and approved or rejected by the Event Organisers, including those that may have prior approval. All questionable weapons or props will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
All decisions made by the Event Organisers are final.
Age Restrictions
J-Pop Go has a strict 18+ age limit. Proof of ID will be required. Holding a valid ticket is not proof of age.
